You are not a member of a gym when you join the Y; you are a member of a movement. The Y is the nation's leading nonprofit organization committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. At The Family Y, strengthening communities is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Every day our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.

We believe the primary benefit to a Y membership is knowing you are a member of an organization that is, and always will be dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure adults, families and communities. To our members, we make accessible the support and opportunities that empower you and your family the ability to learn, grow and thrive.
- FREE orientation and unlimited use of our Wellness Center. One-on-one personal training is available for a fee.
- FREE group exercise classes (land and water, yoga and Pilates, and group cycling).
- FREE childwatch while using a facility (hours vary).

We want to reward your loyalty to The Family Y. Whenever you bring a friend to the Y and they join, you will receive a thank you gift. Be sure your friend mentions your name when they join!
Membership Cards: Your Passport
Your Family Y membership card is a passport to programs and services that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility according to the unique needs of the individual. Membership cards are non-transferable and remain the property of The Family Y. Members are expected to present their membership card to the Member Service Desk each time they enter the facility and when registering for programs. Lost cards may be replaced.
AWAY Privileges (Always Welcome at YMCAs)
Carry healthy living with you by using the AWAY (Always Welcome at YMCAs) program. When you travel, you may use a YMCA in another city on a short-term basis. Present your Family Y membership card at more than 2,000 YMCA's nationwide. Guest fees and privileges may vary. Stop by our Member Service Desk for more information about the AWAY program. Go to ymca.net to find a Y close to where you are traveling.
Guest Privileges
Family Y facilities are provided for the use of Y members. However, members are invited to bring friends and encourage them to join. We provide complimentary guest passes for this purpose. All guests must complete a registration form and show a picture ID. We invite local and out-of-town guests to try the Y. Local guests are encouraged to enjoy our facilities once for free and can extend their experience for $15/adult for one week. Dependents of paying adults can enjoy the Y for free during the week. If local guests choose to join within the week, the $15 fee will be applied towards the joiner's fee or prorated. Out-of-town guests can have access to Family Y facilities for $15/week for up to 4 weeks. We reserve the right to limit guests' usage. Guests' privileges and times vary by Family Y locations.
Payment Plans
Bank Draft - This is an opportunity to pay membership dues on a monthly basis. Depending on the join date, your monthly fee will be automatically withdrawn from your checking account on the 1st or 15th of each month.
Credit Card - This is an opportunity to pay membership dues on a monthly basis. Depending on the join date your monthly fee will be automatically charged to your account on the 1st or 15th of each month. We accept Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover.
Annual Payment - If you choose this form of payment, your membership will be prorated to the first of the following month, along with the annual payment. Your membership will run through the annual period at which time you can renew. If you allow your membership to expire, you have 60 days to renew without having to pay the joining fee again.
Credits
All credits on accounts expire one (1) year of issue date.
Termination Process
No contracts! If you wish to terminate your membership, please give the YMCA a 30-day written notice to stop your draft. Membership fees are nonrefundable.
