Southside Tubman & Child Development's Merge:

We are very excited to announce that the Board of Directors of the Family Y of Augusta has decided to merge the Tubman Learning Center and the Child Development Center.

One of the unique and exciting aspects of this merger is the involvement of two extremely dynamic and vital centers and valuable staff, all with a common set of goals and vision for the future. The combination of strengths and traditions from these two outstanding centers will create one powerhouse of good for your child!

This merger will open up tremendous childcare opportunities for families in the Augusta area by enhancing our ability to deliver on our YMCA mission. We will reach more families with more childcare programs and services, and thus help more children thrive. We will be more innovative and creative; launching new programs, improving facilities, and offering more benefits to the families served.
