The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is participating in a Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at all sites listed on the form below showing the specified start and end times for meals.
“We’re dedicated to ensuring our youth can overcome the hunger gap during the summer months, as many children are unsure of where their next meal will come from,” says Danny McConnell, President/CEO of the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta. “We want to help our youth grow into healthy adults.”
In addition to the snacks/meals provided to our summer camp sites, the YMCA launched four mobile cafes and two more mobile cafes will be included in the program.
