The Family YMCA of Aiken County strengthens your physical health as well as your spiritual health. In addition to this location functioning as a Family YMCA that opened in 2012, this branch is also the home of Cedar Creek West Church. The branch houses the executive offices for the church as well as holding Sunday morning services in the branch. When you become a member at the Family YMCA of Aiken County, you join as a Metro member, meaning you have access to all YMCA locations and our four pools at the Aiken County, Burke County, Riverfront and Wilson locations! Sign up for swim lessons in our outdoor pool and enjoy the water park and lazy river during the summer time. Strengthen your body while you work out in the state-of-the-art wellness center, unwind with one of our licensed massage therapists or take a walk on our indoor walking track. Bump into your new best friend in one of our 12 group exercise classes. We invite you to discover why the Y is where you belong!

Cedar Creek West
Cedar Creek West is a multi-site campus of Cedar Creek Church. We are co-located with the Aiken County Family YMCA. Our mission as a church is as simple and as powerful as this single statement: Helping people find their way back to God. We use this slogan to remind us that Christ reconciled us to God and He has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18).
We want to connect with people wherever they are on their spiritual journey and help them connect with God, through Christ, to discover their purpose and honor God with their lives. This includes everything from reaching unbelievers to helping believers become fully devoted Christ followers.
Join us for our services each Sunday morning at 9:00 & 11:00 am and experience what we’re about as a church family!

Play and Learn Child Enrichment Program
Play and Learn child enrichment program is now available at all 11 CSRA area branches and is the only one of its kind in the region. This program has been uniquely developed by the Y’s educational experts to provide engaging curriculum to help children develop in the areas of music and movement, literacy, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), and arts and crafts while parents are utilizing branch facilities for up to two-hour blocks of time. The service is free to all active Y members and no pre-registration is required.
During normal branch operating hours, parents can place their child in Play and Learn for rotating sessions including music and movement, devotionals, storytelling and reading, STEAM and arts and crafts with age appropriate activities for every child. Play and Learn is designed to stimulate minds and bodies, while teaching competence to build autonomy and reinforce positive attitudes and actions.
Curriculum changes every week throughout the year, with the same offerings each day at every branch should a member utilize multiple facilities for consistency. The program is on a voluntary basis for families and religious beliefs are respected and inclusive, should families have specific preferences.
Play and Learn is designed to help children identify and reinforce their individual strengths, grow their abilities with their natural talents and gain confidence to believe in themselves. It’s a fun and engaging environment for children to learn and develop, while providing parents the assurance that their child is being cared for during their workout in a meaningful way.
