Summer Starts Here at the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta!
Get ready for a summer full of adventure, discovery, and nonstop fun! With nine convenient locations across the CSRA, our YMCA Day Camps run May through August and are designed to keep your child engaged, active, and smiling all summer long.
From building friendships to trying new activities, every camper finds something to love. Our Traditional Day Camps are packed with weekly themes, outdoor games, water days, character-building moments, and plenty of hands-on fun.
Want to take it up a notch? Specialty Camps offer exciting, deep-dive experiences tailored to your child’s unique interests—from science and art to sports and beyond.

Important information:
- Camp rates are weekly rates
- Full payments must be made the Monday prior to the week camp starts.
- Photo IDs are required everyday at pickup.

- Weekly deposit is required and is non-refundable.

Augusta South Summer Camp (5-6yr)
Discover Your Passion at Augusta South YMCA’s Summer Camp!
Get ready for an unforgettable summer at the Y where the theme changes each week to focus on exciting new specialties. There’s something for everyone, so let your camper find their passion and explore it in a fun and supportive environment!
Activities & What to Bring:
Campers can enjoy a variety of activities tailored to their interests. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided, though campers are welcome to bring their own sack lunch and snack (please, no items requiring refrigeration or heating).
To ensure a great experience, campers should bring the following:
- Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes.
- A labeled bookbag containing:
- Towel
- Spray-on sunscreen
- Water shoes
- Water bottle
- Change of clothes
Camp Details:
- Location: Dorothy Hains Elementary School 1820 Windsor Spring Rd.
- Camp Activity Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Drop-off: Starting at 7:00 AM (all campers must be dropped off by 9:00am OR provide a doctors note and notify the camp director for prior approval)
- Pick-up: Until 6:00 PM (late fees are $1.00 per minute after 6:00pm)
- Camp Communication: Please contact the Augusta South Y for information regarding this camp.
Registration & Fees:
- A $10 deposit per week (non-refundable) is required at registration.
- Remaining balances will be automatically deducted two days before the camp session starts.
- Financial assistance is available! Visit us in person to complete the necessary forms. Online registration is still available for camp enrollment.
