Camp drop off will be 7am to 9am.

DROP OFF AFTER 9AM IS ONLY ALLOWED WITH A DOCTOR’S NOTE.

We understand mornings can be hectic, though our cut off time is to ensure that we have the appropriate number of staff to campers. Pick up will be between the hours of 4pm to 6pm. You may arrange an early pick-up in advance with camp staff.

Lunch and a snack are provided. Campers are allowed to bring their own sack lunch and snack. Please no food that requires refrigeration or heating.

Campers will need to wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toed athletic shoes.

Campers will need to bring a bookbag with a towel, swimsuit, spray on sunscreen, water shoes, water bottle and a change of clothes. Please label all items with your child’s name.

There is a $10 non-refundable deposit that must be paid during signup for every week of camp per camper. The deposit will be credited towards the week’s fee.

Photo IDs are required everyday at pickup.

We will close Summer Camp early at 4 pm on July 3rd for the fireworks next door

If you want to apply for financial assistance you will need to come in and complete the forms. You can still register online for camp.

The balance of camp will automatically be deducted 4 days before camp session starts. All payment is due no later than noon on Friday.

** Cancellations must be made in writing 14 days prior to the start date of camp.

**Non-attendance does not entitle a refund*

Enjoy a week of Day Camp outdoor adventures! Includes swimming, archery, kayaking, zipline, climbing wall, low ropes challenge course, disc golf, water games, STEM Arts & Crafts, and character building (respect, responsibility, honesty, caring, and faith).

Day Camp Dates:
Session 1-May 31st to June 4th  “Welcome to the County Fair”
Session 2-June 14th to June 18th  w/ Camp IVEY  “Out on the Farm”
Session 3-July 19th to July 23rd  “Decades Week”

DROP OFF

For the safety of staff and campers, campers may not be dropped off earlier than 7:00AM. Drop-off locations and times are as follows:

• Wilson Family YMCA: 7–8 a.m. (Back entrance, Clubhouse side door near the tile mosaic at Katie’s Pool)
• Steiner Branch Family YMCA: 7:45–8 a.m. (Look for the YMCA bus in the parking lot).  This is a parking lot drop-off and pick-up only!
• Camp Lakeside: 7–9 a.m.

Campers must be dropped off and picked up at the location selected at registration. *Campers being dropped off at Wilson or Steiner will ride the YMCA bus to Camp Lakeside. The Wilson bus will leave promptly at 8:10 AM and the Steiner bus leaves promptly at 8 AM.  If your camper misses the bus and you drive them directly to Camp Lakeside, please notify Y staff at check-in so your camper can be added to the appropriate bus list for the afternoon return trip.

PICK -UP

Pick-up times vary by location:

• Camp Lakeside: 4–6 p.m.
• Wilson Family YMCA: 4–6 p.m.
• Steiner Branch Family YMCA: 4:30–4:45 p.m.  This a parking lot only pick-up.

Please follow these pick-up procedures:

• A photo ID is required to pick up your camper.
• Parents/guardians must sign their camper in and out with YMCA staff each day.
• Campers must be dropped off and picked up at the location selected during registration. Locations cannot be changed throughout the week.
• Only individuals authorized on the camper’s Health History Form may pick up the camper.
• Campers must be picked up by 6 p.m. (4:45 pm for Steiner YMCA parking lot pick-up) to avoid a late fee.

Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided.  Campers are allowed to bring their own sack lunch and snack.  Please no food that requires refrigeration or heating.  No outside food is allowed.  Campers will need to wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.  Campers will need to bring a book bag with a towel, swimsuit, spray on sunscreen, pool shoes, and a change of clothes.  Please label all items with your child’s name.

The camp will be held at Thomson Family YMCA, 521 W Hill Street, Thomson, GA  30824 with drop off (7-9 am) and pickup (4-6 pm) at the front entrance of the building.  Photo IDs are required every day at pickup
