Inspire Me to Dance
Dance through life at the YMCA! Students learn music-rhythm and coordination to build imagination, balance and posture. Students learn dance techniques, confidence, discipline, terminology, and music interpretation. The result is a lovely, flexible, and toned body developed in a non-competitive atmosphere. Please wear comfortable workout clothes or leotard with removable skirt and ballet shoes.

Children will spend an hour per practice learning choreograph of the Afro Beats dance style. The ultimate goal is to use this dance to teach history, build acting skills, confidence, trust, unity, positive expression and an overall love for the art.
