Swim Lessons - Preschool (Ages 3-5 years)
Swim Basics (Stages 1-3)
Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:
* Swim, float, swim – sequencing front glide, roll, back float, and exit.
* Jump, push, turn, grab
Swim Strokes (Stages 4-6)
Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skill sand build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
Participants may only sign up for 1 session per child. Registration for multiple sessions will be refunded and taken off the roster. This is to ensure other children have a chance to get into our swim lesson program! thank you for your understanding!
Beginner-Levels 1/2
Beginner Swimmers:
New to swimming!
They will work on;
-Being comfortable in water
-How to get in and out of the pool
-Asking permission before entering body of water
-Submerge (go completely under water)
-Back Floating
-Front Floating
-Front Glide
-Back Glide
-Freestyle fundamentals (kicks and arm movements)
-Jump-Push-Turn-grab
Weekday lessons = 8 lessons total
Saturday lessons = 4 lessons total

Intermediate-Level 3
Intermediate Swimmer:
Comfortable in water and can complete all the beginner skills independently!
They will work on;
-Freestyle: form and endurance
-Back stroke: fundamentals, form, and endurance
-Treading water: fundamentals, form, and endurance
-Breast stroke fundamentals
-Seeing/retrieving things from the bottom of the pool
-Endurance to swim a 25 (freestyle and back stroke)
-Jump-push-turn-grab (deep end)
