Swim Lessons - School Age (Ages 6-12 years)
Swim Basics (Stages 1-3)
Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:
* Swim, float, swim – sequencing front glide, roll, back float, and exit.
* Jump, push, turn, grab
Swim Strokes (Stages 4-6)
Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
Each class is 30 minutes.
Swim lessons will not be refunded for inclement weather.
If there is inclement weather, we will use one day out-of-water to go over water safety topics.
No classes week of March 2-6.
No classes Masters Week April 6-10.
