Swim Lessons - School Age (Ages 6-12 years)
Swim Basics (Stages 1-3)
Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:
* Swim, float, swim – sequencing front glide, roll, back float, and exit.
* Jump, push, turn, grab
Swim Strokes (Stages 4-6)
Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
Participants may only sign up for 1 session per child. Registration for multiple sessions will be refunded and taken off the roster. This is to ensure other children have a chance to get into our swim lesson program. Thank you for your understanding!
Advance- Levels 4/5
Jr Barracudas Swim Team!
Advance Swimmers:
Can Swim a 25 (1 length of the pool) and can complete all beginner and intermediate skills independently!
They will work on:
-Freestyle lap swimming
-Breaststroke lap swimming
-Breast stroke form and endurence
-Butterfly fundamentals, form, and endurance
-Kickboard lap swimming
-Swim team style workouts!

-Treading water: fundamentals, form, and endurance

-Seeing/retrieving things from the bottom of the pool
-Endurance to swim a 25 (freestyle and back stroke)
-Jump-push-turn-grab (deep end)
