Youth Flag Football
Have fun, learn good sportsmanship, and play competitive football! We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive through team work and development learned in the Family Y’s Youth Sports program. We offer flag football each fall for your athlete to participate in. A team jersey and participation medal will be provided for all athletes. Bring a water bottle and a good attitude. All youth sports are FREE for Metro Family memberships (with an additional uniform fee)

August 1, 2024 Control Date For Age Requirement.
- Coaches Meeting (Coaches Only) TBD
- Practice for U7 – U15 begins the week of October 14th.
- Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach of each team.
- Jerseys will be handed out at your team’s last practice before your first game.
- Games for U7 – U15 Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays (depending on size of the league) Begin the week of October 28th.
- Games will be located at the Wilson YMCA (dates may vary depending on size of league)
- Playoffs (U9-U15 only) and make up games (all divisions) due to weather may be scheduled on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings.
- Schedules (posted the first week of practice) and all other Y Sports information can be found at: Wilson.ygametime.com.
- Awards
- Each player will receive an end of the year participation trophy from the Y at their last game of the season.
- What’s Next?
- Your coach will contact you about your practice schedule by October 5th.
- Please be sure to list a valid phone number and email address on your registration form to ensure that you are contacted in a timely manner.
