Camp Ivey Volunteers

What is Camp IVEY?

Camp IVEY is a Family YMCA of Greater Augusta summer camp for children that have developmental delays. It is a one-week overnight camp for children ages 7 through 21. Camp IVEY’s mission is to promote communication, develop self-care skills and coordination, and create life-long memories through outdoor education and recreational fun in a safe, supportive environment at beautiful Camp Lakeside.

We need patient and understanding volunteers. We are seeking those who love children and have a desire to build upon our camper’s strengths while encouraging them to be the most successful in all they do – the journey is the goal.
