Exceptional Sports
This is a program specifically designed for children with physical and developmental disabilities. The non-competitive league’s main focus is fun! Each player is paired with a helper called a “buddy” and everyone learns the basics of a particular sport. Game play is usually towards the end of the season.

Exceptional soccer is designed to provide the basics of soccer while making it fun for children with developmental and physical disabilities. Sessions are every Wednesday from 5-545 pm at the Wilson Family YMCA. Children will learn the basics of soccer and use that towards game play at the end of the season. Each child will be paired up with a buddy to help guide them through activities and drills.
