Exceptional and Adaptive Sports
This is a program specifically designed for people with physical and developmental disabilities. The non-competitive league’s main focus is fun! Each player is paired with a helper called a “buddy” and everyone learns the basics of a particular sport. Gameplay is usually towards the end of the season.
Exceptional Flag Football Fall 2024
Exceptional flag football is designed to provide the basics of flag football while making it fun for children with developmental and physical disabilities. Sessions are every Wednesday from 5-6 pm at the Wilson Family YMCA. Children will learn the basics of flag football and use that towards game play at the end of the season. Each child will be paired up with a buddy to help guide them through activities and drills.
