Wilson’s Volleyball School is designed to introduce young athletes to the game of volleyball in a fun, non-competitive environment. Open to boys and girls ages 7-8, this league focuses on learning the fundamentals of the sport while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Participants will develop basic volleyball skills through age-appropriate drills, games, and activities that emphasize participation and skill development. Players are encouraged to learn at their own pace while staying active and enjoying the experience of being part of a team. The skills learned in this league provide a strong foundation for future volleyball opportunities and prepare players for the next level of play as they continue to grow in the sport.

Practices are held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:00 PM-5:45 PM in Wilson’s main gym.

Wilson’s U12 Coed Volleyball League is designed for players ages 9-11 who are ready to continue building their volleyball skills in a structured, team-focused environment. This division builds on the fundamentals of the game and introduces more consistent team play, basic positions, and a stronger understanding of how the game is played.

Participants will continue developing core skills such as serving, passing, setting, and hitting while learning how to apply those skills in game situations. Practices and gameplay emphasize teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and steady skill improvement.

The U12 league serves as an important bridge between introductory volleyball and more advanced levels of play, helping athletes strengthen their foundation while staying active, learning the game, and enjoying a positive team experience.

Wilson’s U16 Coed Volleyball League is designed for players ages 12-15 who are ready for a more advanced level of play in a structured team environment. This division continues to build on fundamental skills while placing a stronger emphasis on game strategy, consistency, and overall court awareness.

Participants will further develop serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defensive skills while learning how to apply them in faster-paced and more competitive game situations. Practices and games emphasize teamwork, communication, effort, and sportsmanship, with increased focus on positioning, decision-making, and team systems.

The U16 league helps athletes prepare for high school volleyball and future opportunities in the sport while still maintaining a supportive environment focused on growth, participation, and enjoyment of the game.
