HomeSchool PE
The Y’s Homeschool PE program is designed to help your child increase their strength and endurance, build self-esteem and sports specific skills, improve coordination, encourage team-building and promote healthy habits. Facilitated by trained YMCA staff, students will participate in activities that include fitness, fundamental and sports specific activities. Classes consist of instruction, warm-up, sports/games, cool down and stretch.
Steiner Branch-Homeschool P.E.
Homeschool PE at the Y is a great way for homeschool or distance learning students to have the opportunity to exercise and socialize in a fun, safe environment.
Homeschool PE is available every Tuesday and Thursday in Clubhouse from 11am-12pm.
Classes will run from September 2nd, 2025 to May 14th, 2026.
A typical day includes warm up exercises, sports fundamental instructions, games, cool down, and stretches.
Participants should come to class prepared in athletic attire, running sneakers, and a labeled water bottle.
Classes will be cancelled during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Breaks.
Steiner-Homeschool PE will follow the Columbia County Inclement Weather Alerts.
