Hybrid Learning: Middle School children will attend this session on their designated virtual days in addition to two days of Prime Time based on BCPSD Group Letter (Group A/Group B) –
Group A: Mon/Wed will be Prime Time 2:30-6pm & Tue/Thurs/Fri will be School Days Out 7am-6pm
Group B: Tue/Thurs will be Prime Time 2:30-6pm & Mon/Wed/Fri will be School Days Out 7am-6pm
100% Virtual: Children will attend the Burke County Family YMCA all day and will participate in the school learning via Zoom. When the children are not with their teachers on their electronic devices, they will be participating in STEAM activities, physical fitness activities, and so much more! Breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided each day.
Drop off: 7am – 8am
Pick up: 4pm – 6pm
Virtual Support Camp: Virtual Support Camp is for the parents who need after school care and the distance learning on Fridays. Monday – Thursday will be after school from 3pm – 6pm and Fridays from 7am – 6pm. A bus will bring the children from the school to the Family YMCA location. Children will be provided breakfast, lunch, and a snack and will participate in fun activities as well as get some assistance on any homework in the afternoons and with their distance learning on Fridays.
Kids want to exert energy, to discover who they are, what they can achieve and to be accepted. The Family YMCA’s School Days Out care provides all of this in a safe, well-supervised environment. Kids participate in homework time and curriculum which reinforces character development, reading, science and math., and a variety of skill-building games, crafts, outdoor activities.
