Birthday Parties
Services Provided by the Family Y:
- For children ages 0-12
- Staff members provided
- An activity room in the clubhouse will be available with tables and chairs. Food drinks and decorations may be brought into this party room.
Payment Schedule:
- A deposit of 50.00 to hold you slot must be paid at registration (The Family Y reserves the right to cancel a party for any reason).
- The remaining balance of the rental fee must be paid a week prior to the party date.
- Cancellations will result in a loss of the deposit.
- In order to cancel your party, you must call the front desk. Please call the front desk on Party Day for emergency cancellations.
Set up and clean up:
- Set up and clean-up is the responsibility of the staff
- Renters may set up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled rental time.
- Food and beverages are allowed ONLY in the party room provided.
Rules for Participants:
- No running
- Rough play is not permitted
- Obey staff at all times
- Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the party room or anywhere on the Family Y premises.

North Jefferson Mad Science Lab
Our Spectacular Science Parties include one hour of cool, hands-on science experiments presented by one of our many fun and crazy “mad scientists.”
MAD LAB PARTY
AGES 6-11
6-8 children
This package includes 60 minutes of Lab time where everybody gets to see, touch and help out in the lab. Our Mad Scientist will guide the children through a 2 science experiments. Children will learn valuable science fundamentals while having fun.
Please choose from 2 of the options below
- Elephant Toothpaste
- Walking Water
- Slime
- bubbly dry ice
- Frozen bubbles
You will also have use of the Lab for 1 hour after the science experiments have concluded. This is the perfect opportunity to open presents and eat any food purchased.
A non refundable deposit of $50.00 is required when booking. All our parties include up to 8 kids including the guest of honor. You can add up to 4 more kids for $15.00 each, this must be added at the time of booking. Party tables are included and decorations. Outside food and cake are welcomed.

Steiner Branch Clubhouse and Castle Room Rental
Birthday Parties are for children ages 1 year-12 years old. 1 staff members will be present. Party space will be set up with tables and chairs. All other decorations , and set up will be done by participants. Food, drinks and/or decorations may be brought into party room and set up by participants.
Soft Play is for children ages 3 years-5 years old only. Rough Play is not permitted. Guests must abide by The Family Y rules at all times. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere on The Family Y premises.
Set-up and clean up is the responsibility of the renter. Renters may set up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled rental time, and have 15 minutes to clean up after rental time. Staff members will provide a large trash can for easy clean up. Running over your designated party time limit will result in an extra fee of $25 per 15 minutes. Food and beverages are allowed only in rooms designated during booking.
In order to make changes to or to cancel your party, contact your Y branch’s front desk and the will direct you to the appropriate person.
A $50 Deposit is required at the time of sign up, all remaining balances are due the week prior to the party.
Cancellations 3 days prior to party date will result in a loss of $50. Cancellations within 1 days of party date will result in total loss of fees.
The Family Y reserves the right to cancel a party for any reason.
