The Burke County Family YMCA opened in 2019 to provide the Waynesboro area with a state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor pool and water park. The 20,000 square foot facility includes a spinning theater, perimeter walking trail, community meeting room and more.

2026 GOLF TOURNAMENT

Join us on May 6, 2026, for the Burke County Family YMCA Golf Tournament at the picturesque Applewood Golf Course in Keysville, GA! Starting at 9:00 AM, golfers of all skill levels will come together to make a lasting impact on our community. This exciting day will feature a friendly tournament, delicious food, and the chance to participate in our 50/50 enter to win. Whether you’re swinging clubs on the green or cheering from the sidelines, your participation will help provide essential programs and services for families in need.

OUTDOOR POOL & WATER PARK

From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, members can make fun family memories at the Burke County Family YMCA water park! Our water park features a large lap pool, water slides, splash pad and lazy river.

Water park is CLOSED for the season until May 2026.

Water Park Features

  • Large lap/recreation pool that includes 6 lap swim lanes, recreation and swim instruction areas, slide feature and varying depths.
  • Kiddie Pool with additional water features for youth and families to enjoy.
  • A relaxing lazy river.
  • Outdoor bathhouse with restrooms, showers and lockers for facility users.
  • Large deck to include shade features and a picnic area for events and gatherings.
